Ingredients for shortbread:

  • 300 g of wheat flour,
  • 200 g of butter,
  • 100 g of powdered sugar,
  • 1 egg,
  • 2 yolks,
  • A pinch of salt.

Ingredients for the pudding layer:

  • 800 ml of milk,
  • 100 g cukru,
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar,
  • 2 cream puddings,
  • 2 yolks,
  • A pinch of salt.

Ingredients on the strawberry layer:

  • 400 g of strawberries
  • 700 ml of hot water
  • 2 strawberry jellies.

At the beginning prepare a fragile bottom. In a large bowl, mix the flour with powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Add cold, diced butter and rub your fingers until the crumble is formed. Then add the egg and two yolks and knead the smooth dough quickly. Form a ball, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes.

After cooling, roll out the dough into a cake and transfer to a form of about 25 × 30 cm. Prick the dough with a fork in several places. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C (top-down) for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Prepare the cream. Boil 600 ml of milk and dissolve the pudding powder in the others. Add yolks and mix thoroughly. Pour the prepared mixture into hot milk. Cook on the smallest possible fire and mix all the time until the pudding thickens. Put it on a baked bottom. Align the top. Set aside in the fridge.

Finally, make a strawberry layer. Wash the strawberries, desert and cut into halves or quarters. Melt 2 strawberry jellies in 750 ml of hot water. Set aside to cool – the jelly should thicken slightly.

When the pudding on the dough is concentrated, spread strawberries on it. Carefully pour the solid jelly on top, trying not to move the fruit. Put the dough in the fridge for a few hours until the jelly is completely cut.
