  • 1.5 cups of sugar (a glass with a capacity of 250 ml),
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 75 ml buttermilk.

Ingredients for chocolate coating:

  • a glass of powdered sugar (a glass with a capacity of 250 ml),
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa,
  • 3 tablespoons of milk,
  • 3 tablespoons of butter.

Preparation method:

1. Start by preparing the dough. Place chopped chocolate, water, butter in a saucepan. Start heating the whole to combine. When they create a homogeneous mass, let them cool down.

2. Sift flour with baking powder, soda, cocoa into a separate dish. Add sugar to them and mix gently.

3. Insert the eggs into a separate bowl, talk to buttermilk. Add cooled chocolate with butter to this. Mix to combine the ingredients.

4. Add loose ingredients to the egg mass. Gently mix them with a kitchen rod, only to combine.

5. Place a cake tin with a diameter of 23 cm with baking paper or grease with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the dough into it. Bake them in an oven preheated to 140 degrees C for an hour and 10 minutes. In case the stick was not dry after checking, time can be extended.

6. Prepare the topping during baking. In a pot, boil the milk, dissolve the butter in it and add the sifted powdered sugar with cocoa. Mix to a smooth mass.

7. Pull the chocolate cake out of the oven and leave it a slight cooling. After a while, brush its top. Set aside to freeze.

8. A very chocolate cake for Children’s Day is ready to serve. To break the taste, you can optionally decorate them with fruit such as blueberries, strawberries or raspberries.
