PT and PL leaders in the House, Lindbergh Farias (RJ) and Sostenes Cavalcante (RJ), respectively, discussed this Friday (30), in The Great Debatethe inquiry against Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) to investigate alleged actions of the licensed deputy against the Brazilian judiciary.

For Lindbergh, who filed a request for the revocation of Eduardo’s mandate, the licensed deputy committed betrayal and attack on national sovereignty. The PT leader in the House also compares Eduardo’s performance in the United States with those convicted of the January 8 attacks.
“What is the difference from Eduardo to those who broke the whole Supreme on January 8? He is out of the country, cherishing our institutions, attacking the Supreme and asking for sanctions from a foreign country against authorities,” said the petista.
Lindbergh points out that he will also testify in the investigation against Eduardo Bolsonaro and said he will deliver to PF evidence of the allegations.
Already Sostenes defended the actions of Eduardo outside the country, and compared the performance of the deputy to that of members of the PT during the period when President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) was arrested in the context of Operation Lava Jato.
“In 2017, 2018, PT parliamentarians ran over 30 countries around the world to denounce the Brazilian judiciary. At that time, the petistas said that President Lula was persecuted. At that time, no PT opponent came with representation against it because we think politics is resolved in politics,” he said.
Sostenes also points out that the mobilization of justice against Eduardo Bolsonaro strengthens the politician for whatever his claim to 2026. “Every politician who is persecuted ends up being stronger.”
