If you haven’t heard of him yet, you must have noticed it. Butterfly shrubs, or right Czech, David’s Bohemia are beautiful deciduous shrubs that attract butterflies and other insects with their distinctive and very decorative flowers.
It is an undemanding greenery that loves and benefits well in sunny habitats. It needs permeable soil, because even the watering is not ideal for it, so you do not have to worry about it all summer. On the contrary, it tolerates very drier conditions and is suitable for both the countryside and city gardens and front gardens.

Using a brick in hedges
Although it is a beautiful shrub that can also serve as an impressive solitaire, it can also be made of an amazing hedge. It is not a shrub that typically fits on the hedge because it falls and is not too dense. However, it is an easy tree species for conditions, it can handle occasional bad weather. It grows well and is therefore easy to shape. Especially in the spring, it is advisable to cut the bush more vigorously to bloom beautifully later.
It grows to a height of 2 to 3 meters. It has a very elegant, shit crown, at the ends of which blooms a shrub with purple, blue, pink, white or burgundy inflorescences, which are up to 30 cm long. In English, this shrub is called a summer lilac, which is quite concise. Because you will have this spectacle from the beginning of summer until autumn.
The use of the communication is also recorded by the fact that growers and garden architects have long been abandoned from the idea of an impenetrable, perishable green and a completely monotonous hedge. Interesting texture, mixing of colors and heights are welcome. Thus, the hedge does not have to look like a green wall around the land.
The butterfly shrub attracts pollinators but mosquito hates it

The butterfly shrub or Buddleja Davidia originally comes from China and Himalayas. If you grow plants that come from Asia, you may also wonder if the butterfly bush also needed a slightly acidic pH. And you’re right.
The butterfly shrub is very adaptable and will grow well even in neutral soil. However, if you want to improve it a little, you can also use fertilizers for acidic plants, but only exceptionally. The ideal pH is between 6 and 7.5 values. This represents a neutral or only slightly acidic pH of the soil.
