The victims were shot dead at the door of Isabela’s house, in the south of São Paulo. Rafael was 22 years old; Isabela, 18. The actor was known for playing the character Paçoca in the soap opera Chiquititesfrom SBT, and for participating in commercials and other productions on Brazilian television. During the trial, two co-defendants accused of helping Cupertino to flee were acquitted. The defense of the entrepreneur can still appeal the sentence, but he will continue in prison.
