President is 79 years old and recently canceled external commitments after a labyrinthis crisis
The 79 -year -old president (PT) said the condition to run for reelection in 2026 is that he is well in health. The statement was given this Sunday (1st.Jun.2025) during the National Congress of the PSB (Brazilian Socialist Party), in Brasilia.
“For me to be a candidate for reelection, there are some things in my life: first, I need to be 100% health, as I am today”said Lula. Then the president defended the elaboration of a project for the country’s future in 10 to 15 years.
At the end of the speech, the president, who will be 81 years old at the end of the current government, spoke again about the possibility of a 4th term: “You can be sure of one thing: if I’m handsome the way I’m, in love the way I’m, and motivated the way I’m, the far right does not go back to rule this country.”.
Lula external commitments on Tuesday (27.MAI) because of a labyrinthitis crisis. He felt a dizziness (common symptom of labyrinthitis) on Monday afternoon (26.mai) and took exams at the Syrian-Lebanese hospital in Brasilia.

On October 19, 2024, Lula suffered a crash in the Dawn Palace and hit the back of his head. The brain shook and 2 clots were formed.
