This Sunday (1st), the partnership between the gaucho, number 64 of the pair ranking of the Association of Professional Tennis players (ATP), and Croatian Ivan Dodig (58th), beat the carioca Fernando Romboli (56th) with Australian John-Patrick Smith (62º) by 2 sets to 1.
The partials were 4/6, 7/6 (7-5 in tie-break) and 6/4, in two hours and 20 minutes of departure. The result ranked light and Dodig for the quarterfinals of the tournament’s men’s doubles key, played in Paris, France. They will face Spaniard Marcel Granollers (10th) and Argentine Horacio Zeballos (11th) in the next phase, worth the semifinals. The match will still be marked by the organization.
