The IS intensifies attacks on Kurdish militias in Syria, the convoy with oil has been the target of a fatal attack.
In the Sunday attack of the terrorist group Islamic State (IS) in the northeast of Syria, three Kurdish militants died. According to the Syrian Observatory Center for Human Rights (SOHR) Kurdish forces were accompanied by a convoy carrying oil that was directed under the control of the government in Damascus. In a statement by the Kurdish armed group Asajiš, the IS stated that the IS hit the convoy on the road between Rakka and Hasaka. According to her, jihadists’ attacks are increasing in this area.
Intense attacks IS
AFP recalls that since the fall of Syrian ex -president Bashar Assad, the IS has been intensifying attacks on Kurdish militias. On Friday he also applied for two attacks in the south of Syria. According to SOHR, this was the first terrorist attack on the forces related to the new Syrian government.
In the past, the IS controlled large parts of Syria and Iraq, where the caliphate was declared. Millions of people lived under the factual government of terrorists and they also managed to conquer large cities like Mosul or Rakka.
