He stressed that the international community wants a substantial peace process and a real ceasefire. “Everyone wants Russia to stop playing games with diplomacy and end the war. Everyone wants a serious peace – and Russia has to accept it, “he noted.
Ukraine’s president reiterated that Kiev has already submitted his proposals to the talks table and called on Washington to show determination on the issue of sanctions as a pressure lever to achieve peace. “We hope the American side is decisive on the subject of sanctions – to bring peace closer,” he concluded.
