A detainee and several injured in a Colorado attack that the FBI describes as "terrorist"

The Colorado Police (USA) arrested a man accused of setting several people in a commercial area in Boulder, a fact that left multiple injured and that the FBI has already described as a “terrorist attack.”

The authorities are “working” to identify the attacker and have not yet found a mobile, according to a press conference the Chief of the Boulder Police, Stephen Redfearn.

“When we arrive in the area, we found several victims who have burns consistent,” said Redfear and added that several people are seriously injured.

The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, said this afternoon that his agency is already investigating the incident as a “deliberate terrorist attack” and deployed several agents in the region.

The authorities responded to emergency calls in the Pearl Street area, in Boulder, a university city west Denver, about 13:00 local time (19:00 GMT) this Sunday.

Several of the injured were participating in a peaceful protest in favor of Israel, as detailed.

The Anti-Defamation League organization (ADL), dedicated to combating “anti-semitism” and promoting Pro-Israel policies, confirmed in its X account that the attack took place during an event of the “Jewish community” to ask for the release of hostages that remain in Hamas.
