F1 teams collect $ 2.04 billion with sponsorship in 2024

The teams raised US $ 2.04 billion in sponsorship revenues in 2024, according to a study of the one released on Friday (30.MAI.2025).

The value exceeds 4 of the top 5 sports leagues in the United States, behind only (National Football League), which won $ 2.49 billion in the 2024/25 season.

The average f1 agreement is $ 6.01 million, while none of the main US alloys exceed US $ 1 million per contract. The automotive category operates with 340 agreements distributed among its 10 teams, while NFL has 3,466 contracts divided between 32 franchises.

The technology sector leads investments in F1, accounting for $ 543 million in sponsorship in 2024. In 2nd place is the financial services sector, which raised $ 379 million last season.

According to Sponsorunited, the most valued advertising spaces in cars are the air box and sidepods (Sidepods), with a cost between $ 5.3 million and $ 7.5 million per season.

McLaren’s duo, Lando Norris and Oscar Pastri, added more than 50 million engravings with brands last season, the largest number among all F1 pairs. George Russell of Mercedes obtained 24.8 million engagement, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc reached 29.2 million.

Formula 1 commercial activity should remain expanding in 2025, with the arrival of new brands such as the LVMH group, Nestlé and Pepsico to the grid of sponsors.
