The Holocaust Memorial, two synagogues in downtown Paris, 1 Jewish restaurant and a 3rd synagogue in the 20th district of Paris were vandalized with green ink at dawn on Saturday (31.mai.2025). The attacks were discovered by police during patrol at 5:15 am local time (0:15 in Brasilia).
Morning round police identified the green ink marks on the restaurant’s facade, the Tournelles synagogue, the Hakehilos Synagogue and the Holocaust Memorial, all located in the 4th Parisian district. A partially used paint bucket was found near the Jewish restaurant, according to the French newspaper .
Paris police confirmed that a 3rd synagogue, located in the 20th district, was also the subject of the same type of vandalism.
According to the French police, the investigation is underway. No claims have been found in the vandalized places.

The 4th district of Paris, where most attacks occurred, is known for housing a high concentration of Jewish residents. Shavuot is a Jewish celebration that occurs 7 weeks after Easter.
