Warsaw-According to post-election surveys, a head-to-head race is emerging in the runoff election around the presidency in Poland. The liberal candidate Rafal Trzaskowski therefore accounted for 50.3 percent of the votes, and his right -wing conservative rival Karol Nawrocki received 49.7 percent. Trzaskowski spoke of a “victory” on Sunday, right after the first forecasts were announced. “We won,” said Trzaskowski under the cheers of his followers, “but on the razor blade”.
