The actress Regina Duarte78, remembered on Sunday (1st) the decision to assume the position of Special Secretary of Culture in the government of Jair Bolsonaro in 2020. In an interview with TV Record, she was also asked if she still intends to get involved with politics.
“There was never this desire. I’m very curious, interested, and I said ‘wow, why am I going to waste the opportunity to enter the palace of the powers of this country?’. I went to see how it was inside. I was only 74 days. I didn’t even know where my room was,” he said.
Regarding the criticism received at the time, Regina stressed that she was aware of her decision and that she does not keep resentment for the attacks.
“I always felt responsible for the option and audacity of the option,” he said.
Asked how she feels about the artistic class, she answered with good humor, laughing, “I’m not interested.”
The interview, conducted by Carolina Ferraz, marked the reunion of the two, which can currently be seen together in the reprise of “Love Story” (1995) at Globo.
