UN conference seeks protection of 30% of oceans

Lula will participate in the opening of the event in Nice, France, with Macron and other presidents

Government representatives of about 100 countries will participate in the United Nations Conference on Oceans) in Nice (France) from June 9 to 13, 2025. One of the objectives of the meeting is to discuss 8% to 30% of the total protected maritime areas.
