Maicol dos Santos, the only suspect arrested for the death of the young Vitória Regina, states in an interview that confession was forced by authorities. The 17 -year -old was found dead on land in Greater Sao Paulo.
“My confession was based on the facts that not only the delegate, but as several police and investigators induced me at that time [..] The security secretary said that my mother’s retirement would be guaranteed, that would give her a valley, ”says Maicol in an interview with TV Record.
The main suspect of the case also stated that he actually didn’t even know victory, “there is no way to have an obsession with someone I don’t know.”
It also points out that the victim was never in his vehicle, “She was never in my car.”
Confronted on cleaning products and traces found in his residence, Maicol counteracts: “andU was already changing for more than a month, I cleaned the house like anyone with a rented house that is about to change it. ”

The disappearance and death of Vitória Regina de Sousa, 17, moved the residents of Cajamar (SP). The story began on February 26, when the girl, after a day at work at a local mall, took a bus back home.
That night Victoria shared text messages with a friend expressing the fear she felt when she realized she was being followed by two men. Witnesses reported seeing a car with four men following the young woman after she got out of the bus.
Police and family members, supported by numerous agents, sniffer dogs and drones, sought victory in various corners of the region. On March 5, Vitória was found dead in a forest area in Cajamar.
The young woman’s body was in advanced state of decomposition and showed signs of violence. The young woman had a shaved head and without clothes.
The Civil Police indicated Maicol Sales do Santos for qualified homicide and concealment of corpse after alleged confession. However, the defendant’s defense vehemently denied the confession and alleged police coercion.
