Vitória Case: Maicol dos Santos says in an interview that confession was armed

Maicol dos Santos, the only suspect arrested for the death of the young Vitória Regina, states in an interview that confession was forced by authorities. The 17 -year -old was found dead on land in Greater Sao Paulo.

That night Victoria shared text messages with a friend expressing the fear she felt when she realized she was being followed by two men. Witnesses reported seeing a car with four men following the young woman after she got out of the bus.

Police and family members, supported by numerous agents, sniffer dogs and drones, sought victory in various corners of the region. On March 5, Vitória was found dead in a forest area in Cajamar.

The young woman’s body was in advanced state of decomposition and showed signs of violence. The young woman had a shaved head and without clothes.

The Civil Police indicated Maicol Sales do Santos for qualified homicide and concealment of corpse after alleged confession. However, the defendant’s defense vehemently denied the confession and alleged police coercion.
