What is known about the suspect who is stuck by the attack on Colorado

The FBI is investigating the attack on members of the Jewish community in the US on Sunday (1st). The case occurred during a meeting that takes place in Boulder, Colorado. According to local police, six people were injured.

The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45,, besides shouting “Palestine Free,” said Mark Michalek, FBI special agent in Denver on Sunday during a press conference.

What is known about the attack

The incident took place during an event of the race for their lives in Boulder – a weekly meeting of members of the Jewish community designed to support hostages during the attacks, according to the Anti -Difama League.

Six victims, aged 67 to 88, were injured, according to the FBI. A victim was “seriously injured”, according to Boulder police chief Stephen Redfearn.

Four people were taken to the Boulder Community Hospital. Two were transported by helicopter to the Denver Metropolitan Region, the boss said. All are still being treated.

Soliman acted alone and is not part of a larger group or network, Michalek said. In 2005, his entry visa in the United States was denied, according to sources to CNN. It is unclear when or how the suspect entered the US.

The suspect will be indicted in the coming days, according to Boulder County Public Prosecutor Michael Dougherty. Federal criminal charges are expected in the case, according to a source from the CNN familiar with the investigation. It is unclear if Soliman has a lawyer right now.

Shouting

A video obtained by CNN Show Soliman shirtless man, shouting “end with the Zionists”, “Palestine is free!” and “They are killers!” while carrying two bottles.

Witnesses in the video can be heard that Soliman was “spraying alcohol” and “was preparing Molotov cocktails.”
