The French author Valérie Perrinknown as “Three“, has its third work published in Brazil this month. With the name”Dear aunt“The new book published by Editora Intrinsic is now available in bookstores and online stores in the country.
“Dear Aunt” portrays filmmaker Agnès who finds herself lost after a divorce. She then gets a call talking about the death of her Aunt Colette. What could just be something common is a great puzzle: after all, your aunt was buried for three years.
Agnès then travels to the city in the interior of France to understand what happened. When she arrives, she confirms her aunt’s death – which causes a number of questions that make her explore a casset -tape box left by Colette.
The book changes between the events of Agnès in 2010 and with her aunt’s past, around the late 1950s. History addresses friendship, love for sport and life within France, as well as the development of a family with artistic talents and the impacts of Nazism on their lives.
In addition to “dear aunt” and “three”, Perrin also has the book “Fresh Water for the Flowers” published in Brazil by the intrinsic publisher.
