Councilman Raimundo Neném, former president of the board in the last management, spoke about the charges made by the current chairman, Joabe Lira. According to Neném, the alleged breach is impossible to exist and all contracts made by their management were fulfilled and paid.

“We ended two years with the contracts all ok, and there is no deficit. Here is not a private company to have a break,” he said.

In addition, the councilman pointed out that the House has its budget coming from the City Hall and stated that all unused amount returns to the municipal coffers. “The budget is from City Hall. If we do not spend the money, automatically the money returns to the city,” he emphasized.

He also pointed out that the existing money is sufficient, but they cannot commit exaggerations as they once happened.

“We made a report these days. There is money to close the accounts. There is no money as there were 17 councilors, but there will be money to conclude, and I guarantee you here, that in this interview, he will close the two years of the City Hall, without depending on anyone,” he said.
