Most second -hand vehicles that are imported come from France and Germany. But the risk is greater in the polacs.
The Portuguese buy many Imported cars. As it is normal in most countries – as it is difficult for a car to always be in the same country.
Most second -hand vehicles that are imported to Portugal come from France (40.3%) and Germany (19.6%), followed by Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.
The preference for cars that French brands is not from now. Renault, Peugeot and Citroën continue to lead, much because of their lowest prices than most competitors.
But not all (whatever the country of origin) come as they should arrive, and not everyone arrives with the real history.
A new study of the carvertical, which analyzed data from last year, again shows that many cars that arrive from other countries have adulterations in the accounting account (have been more than the screen shows), or have hidden defects.
And there is another problem that appears: when there are accidents, the cars are repaired with cheap and non -original parts – which can compromise long -term reliability.

Matas Buzelis, a car expert at Carvertical, leaves the warning: “In some cases, buyers do not even realize that the car they are acquiring is imported, which facilitates the concealment of critical information such as previous accidents, real mileage or even theft records.”
