Actor Jonathan Joss, known for his work in the series Parks and Recreationshe was shot dead at the age of 59 in what her husband defined as a homophobic attack on the couple last Saturday, 31, in the United States.
“When the man shot, Jonathan pushed me out. He saved my life,” wrote Tristan Kern de Gonzales, the actor’s husband, on social networks. “He was murdered by someone who could not stand the vision of two man who love each other,” he added.
The widower also said that the artist was shot in front of their house in the city of San Antonio, Texas, while they checked the mailbox in the garden.
“When we returned home after checking the mail, we saw the skull of one of our dogs and his collar. It made us very shaken and we started to scream and cry in response to the pain we felt when we did it, a man approached us. He started to scream homophobic offenses. Threatening no one, we were suffering, ”he wrote.
The suspect of shooting Joss, identified as Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, was arrested and will answer for murder.
The actor’s longest role was the voice acting of the character John Recon, in the animation The King of the Piecebetween 1997 and 2009. In addition, he was also present in series as Ray Donovan e Tulsa King.
