The NO leader (RJ) said on Monday (2) that he delivered to documents and more than 600 demonstrations of the licensed deputy (PL-SP) who, according to the petista, would characterize various crimes, such as coercion, obstruction of justice and violent attack against the democratic rule of law.
Lindbergh was the author of the request that resulted in the opening of an investigation last week about the performance abroad of Jair Bolsonaro’s son 03. The Federal Police investigates Eduardo’s articulation in the United States to sanction the Minister of (Supreme Federal Court). The order of opening of the investigation came from Moraes himself.
The petista deputy said that the situation is very serious and that “we are moving towards a serious diplomatic crisis.”
“There is no way for the Brazilian government to be crossed if there is a retaliation against the Supreme Minister, on top of a law that is used against dictatorships, with false speech, which is a dictatorship here. This will have consequences here in Brazil.”
He also said that “he has to work because the consequences, in the event that there is a sanction” will be very bad for Brazil.
“It will have to have a reaction. Because there is no such thing. Imagine if Minister Alexandre Moraes suffers a sanction like this, which can block credit cards, personal accounts. I think Brazil and Itamaraty have to move in advance,” he said.
The PT deputy also stated that Eduardo is disturbing the investigation, which is “a continued crime”, as after January 8, “they continue to attack the institutions.”
“In our assessment, Eduardo Bolsonaro’s conduct is still the same. What is the difference of what Eduardo Bolsonaro does to one of those scammers who depreciated the Supreme? Is a symbolic depredation of the Supreme. An international articulation to sanction Supreme Minister, Attorney General, Federal Police delegates. This is what is being done.”
The parliamentarian said he wanted to show investigators “the causal link between his movements and several facts that happened later.” He also said that he made a precautionary request to block Bolsonaro’s assets-the former president has said he helps keep his son in the United States.
“In our assessment, Eduardo Bolsonaro, when we talk about coercion in the course of the process, wants to protect his father and those involved in the coup plot. It is a form of maintenance of this criminal organization outside the country,” said the PT leader.
In defending the investigation with the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, Paulo Gonet, said that former President Bolsonaro’s son may have committed crimes by acting with foreign authorities against “members of the Federal Supreme Court, Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Police.”
The PGR chief mentioned Eduardo’s offensive so that the government applies sanctions against Moraes.
The minister accepted Gonet’s request last week and determined the opening of the investigation with the objective of ascertaining the alleged crimes of coercion, obstruction of investigation and violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law. Jair Bolsonaro’s testimony is scheduled for Thursday (5).
