More and more young people in the United States are taking to the Wegovy’s weight loss medication by the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. Last year, the number of young people who started treatment with the highly effective preparation for weight loss increased by 50 percent to 14.8 per 100,000 young people, as can be seen from surveys by the health data company Truveta. In the first three months of 2025, the number continued to rose to 17.3 new prescriptions per 100,000 young people.
