The Madeleine McCann case can win a new chapter soon. Portuguese police began, on Monday (2/6), new search for clues in the whereabouts of the almost 4-year-old girl, who disappeared in 2007. At the request of the German police, the investigators will take the route between Praia da Luz (Portugal), where the child was hosted and was seen for the last time and where the main suspect, Christian Brueckner, would live at the time. The stretch lasts 40 minutes by car.
The search for search was issued by the German authorities and titled by the Public Prosecution Service coordinator with the Faro District. The process is conducted by the Braunschweig prosecutor. Until Friday (6/6), the Portuguese will send the new information found about the case.
In May this year, information found on Christian Brueckner’s hard drive could indicate that the British child would be dead. At 47, he is serving seven years in Germany for the rape of a US woman. Brueckner also faces three accusations of rape and sexual abuse of minors, which would have occurred between 2000 and 2017. If new evidence does not appear against him, the suspect will leave jail in September.

Friend denounced brueckner
In 2008, during an organ festival in Spain, Broeckner allegedly told a friend that Madeleine “didn’t shouted.” Helge Busching told authorities in 2017 that Christian “made a comment about the missing girl.” In a letter written inside the prison, after being convicted of rape, Brueckner criticized the reporter’s report.
Christian asked me if I would still go to Portugal. I said, “I don’t go to Portugal anymore because there are many problems there, there are too much police because of the missing child. It’s really strange that she has disappeared without a trace.” Christian replied, ‘Yes, she didn’t shouted,’ ”said Helge Busching.
The suspect of kidnapping Madeleine stated that the report is “unworthy of comments” and denies involvement in the case.

“Strong evidence”
German prosecutors believe that Brueckner is responsible for the girl’s disappearance. Despite the discoveries, Brueckner has not yet been formally accused by Madeleine’s disappearance.
“We have strong evidence that Madeleine McCann is dead and that our suspect killed her.” We don’t have the body, no body parts, but we have enough evidence to say that our suspect killed Madeleine McCann. Parents have been informed that German police are evident that she is dead, but we don’t tell them the details. Said Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters to the 60 -minute Australian program.
Currently, Brueckner is seven -year -old for raping an American elderly woman in the Algarve the year before Madeleine’s disappearance, and is due to be released later this year.
