Delúbio Soares

Duda Mendonça

José Dirceu

Before that, in 2015, he was arrested at Lava Jato, suspected of receiving bribes from contractors in business consulting activities. José Genoino

Lula
The president always said he was not aware of the scheme and, even in the face of the political crisis in his government, reelected himself in 2006. He was never formally accused of any crime in the monthly, but became years later the Operation Lava Jato investigation center. It was denounced in cases of corruption such as the triplex in Guarujá and the site in Atibaia. He was convicted in two lawsuits and was arrested for 580 days in Curitiba. The penalties were nullified in 2021 by the Supreme Court (STF) after the Court considered the Federal Court in the incompetent Paraná to judge the cases of the petista and declare the former Judge Sergio Moro partial to judge him. With the political rights restored, he ran back to the Planalto Palace in 2022 and won. Now, he says he will seek reelection in 2026.
Marcos Valério

Valdemar Costa Neto
Valdemar was a federal deputy for PL-SP at the time of the scandal. He renounced his term in 2005, but was elected again in 2006 and 2010. He was sentenced in 2012 to 7 years and 10 months in prison, renouncing the chair in the legislature again. Arrested, he also benefited from Dilma’s pardon in 2016.
