According to him, this was caused by the sharpening of the Ukrainian armed forces, which resulted in damaged high -voltage devices in the northwest of the Zaporozka region. The Ministry of Energy has been instructed to ensure backup energy sources.

The Zaporožská nuclear power plant occupied by Russian forces continues despite the failure of electricity in normal operation, spokeswoman Yevgeny Jashin said to TASS. “Highly qualified staff is working to ensure the safety of its operation,” she added.

More than 100,000 people in 150 cities and villages remain in the neighboring Kherson region without electricity, said Russia, Vladimir Saldo. According to him, the fragments of the downed unmanned aircraft damaged a substation near the town of Geničesk (Ukrainian Heničesk), as well as a substation in the Melitopol district of the Zaporozka region.

Shortly before the power outage, Russian military bloggers and local occupation authorities reported on the attack of drones on the Kersonian region and the region at the border of Crimea.
