Like “Operation Pavutyna”, this secret plan was also prepared for “several months.” “SBU agents undermined the pillars of this illegal facility,” explain the Ukrainian secrets, adding that “there were no civilians.”
The SBU, in the publication signed by Malyuk, explains that the pillars of the Kerch bridge were hit by 1,100 kg of TNT -like explosives and were “severely damaged” in the submerged infrastructure part.

As in Sunday’s operation, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk, SBU’s top chief, personally supervised the attack and coordinated all its execution.
This is the third Ukrainian attack against the Kerch Bridge, after those that occurred in 2022 and 2023. “No illegal installation of the Russian Federation takes place in the territory of our country,” says SBU, ensuring that they will continue with “this tradition under water.”
