The victim, under heavy threat, called the emergency number 190 and, amid crying, simulated a request: “I would like to order a pizza”. The Federal District Military Police attendant (PMDF) quickly noticed that it was a relief call and called a 26th Battalion team to the informed address.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the woman with bruises on the face and one foot. A child was also in the residence and would have witnessed the aggressions.

The aggressor, a 40 -year -old man, was caught in the act and led to 20th Police Stationin the range. He denied the crime, but the victim confirmed that he suffered physical and psychological violence.

The case reinforces the importance of training professionals working in emergency centers to identify signs of disguised relief, an increasingly common practice in risk situations.
