A 70-year-old cyclist has died on Wednesday morning on the N-240 road at Lleida, where he also suffered an accident with a coach. But the Mossos d’Esquadra have reported that man died from natural causes prior to the accident, reports the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT) in a statement. This has been confirmed by autopsy, and in this sense, it is not considered a mortal traffic accident.
Trànsit thus rectifies the initial information, in which it was stated that the cyclist had died after hitting a bus in front yesterday and that was stopped at kilometer 98-99 of the N-240, as the Segre.
