Britain promised to deliver 100,000 drones to Ukraine on Wednesday by the end of the current fiscal year in April 2026. Reuters reported that the package of unmanned aircraft worth £ 350 million is part of the wider initiative of military support for Ukraine worth £ 4.5 billion. The delivery will be announced by British Minister John Healey at a contact group meeting to defend Ukraine in Brussels, TASR reports.
“The United Kingdom intensifies its support to Ukraine by supplying other hundreds of thousands of unmanned aircraft this year and completing a significant milestone in the supply of critical artillery ammunition,” Healey said in a statement published before the group meeting of more than 50 countries in NATO, Brussels. Meanwhile, the BBC reported that the US Secretary of Defense will not participate in the meeting for the first time.

In addition to the supplies of Britain’s drones, according to Reuters, she said that it has completed the supply of 140,000 artillery grenades to Ukraine since January, and this year it will spend another £ 247 million for training Ukrainian units.
