French court confirms withdrawal from Le Pens local office

Lille-According to a district court, it is legal that the French right-wing navy Le Pen was withdrawn her local office after her conviction for embezzlement of EU funds. Le Pen wanted to have the withdrawal of her office as a council in the northern French department Pas-de-Calais. The Lille district court rejected this.
