The State Government of Acre published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Decree No. 11,704, which officially establishes the program Together for Acre. The initiative, conceived and led by the deputy governor and secretary of Social Assistance and Human Rights, Mailza Assis, aims to promote social inclusion and improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations in the state.

The program integrates several areas, such as social assistance, health, education, housing, public safety, work, income, culture and environment, with the objective of providing more efficient and coordinated care to acrean families. The State Secretariat of Social Assistance and Human Rights (Seasdh), under the leadership of Mailza Assis, will be responsible for the management of the program.

Among the main objectives of the Program Together by Acre are the improvement of the living conditions of people in socially vulnerable situations, the strengthening of integration between different public policies, technical support to municipalities to ensure more efficient intersectoral care, as well as promoting the autonomy of families served. The program also provides for active search, registration and continuous follow -up of families, ensuring that none of them are unassisted.
The decree also establishes the complementary project “taking care of families”, which has as pillars the strengthening of family bonds, the legal and organizational organization, the professionalization and promotion of the financial autonomy of participating families.
