Preparing homemade mint syrup is simpler than you might think. Fragrant green leaves and basic ingredients such as sugar or lemon are enough, and the effect will be very healthy and delicious. Ingredients:

  • Ok 100 g of mint leaves,
  • 2 liters of water,
  • 1.5 kg of sugar,
  • Two lemons juice.

Start by thorough washing of mint leaves. Then dry them.

In a large pot, boil the water, after boiling remove it from the heat, add sugar and mix vigorously – until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Add lemon juice, mix again.

Add mint leaves to the pot, cover and set aside for 24 hours.

After this time, boil the syrup with mint and cook for about half an hour.

Strain the syrup, squeeze the remaining mint leaves to extract as much taste as possible. Optionally, you can also add a little green dye to overclock the color. Ready.

If you plan to store the syrup, boil it again and pour into scalded hot bottles. Stink hard.
