A joint operation between the Civil Police of Acre and São Paulo resulted in the arrest of JCs, a man suspected of sexually abusing male adolescents and producing material related to child sexual exploitation in Rio Branco. The suspect, who already had an open arrest warrant in Sao Paulo, was arrested on May 26 after the complaint of a victim.

Investigations revealed that he used devices, such as offering credits for popular young people among young people, to attract and manipulate their victims.
During the operation, the police fulfilled a search and seizure warrant, gathering smartphones, pen-drives and a computer that JCs used to register and share abuse in virtual environments. In addition to crimes committed in the Acrean capital, investigations indicated that the suspect also committed virtual rape, reaching victims in various regions of Brazil. The São Paulo Civil Police identified one of the victims during their investigations, which were already underway with the Acre authorities.
JCS arrest is a reflection of the collaborative work of the civil police of both states, which have come together to combat the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. The seized material will be analyzed by experts to identify other possible victims and deepen the investigations. Police continue to encourage the population to report cases of child sexual exploitation, ensuring the anonymity of the complainants and reinforcing their commitment to the protection of children and adolescents across the country.
