Opposition in the House Cobra Hugo by reaction to the arrest warrant against Zambelli

A Opposition in the House of Representatives charged the President of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB)so that the legislature reacts to Prison order against federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP).

The demonstration was through a note issued by the Opposition Leadership This Wednesday (4). Currently, the post is occupied by the Federal Deputy Zucco (PL-RS).

“The presidency of the House of Representatives – in the figure of President Hugo Motta – has the constitutional, institutional and moral duty to speak firmly and urgently,” the note says.

In the note, it is charged that the arrest warrant against Zambelli “is immediately submitted to the deliberation of the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies, as expressly determined the Federal Constitution.”

“Any omission in this sense will mean not only connivance with one more runaway, but the renunciation of this house of its own authority and its institutional prerogatives,” the opposition added.

Earlier, with the plenary, finally, deciding whether to authorize or revoke the order. The Federal Supreme Court (STF) has up to 24 hours to formally communicate the House on the decision.

STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes ordered, on Wednesday, Zambelli’s preventive arrest and ordered the Federal Police (PF) to take the necessary procedures to include it on Interpol’s International wanted list.

Condemned by the Supreme Court for involvement in invasion of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) system and insertion of false documents, Zambelli announced on Tuesday that he had left Brazil.

Currently, the parliamentarian is in the United States. THE CNNZambelli confirmed that he left Brazil through the Brazilian border with Argentina.
