The new South Korean President and Če-Mong want to strive for a dialogue with North Korea while strengthening a three-sided partnership with the US and Japan. Informed AP, writes TASR.

In his inaugural speech after taking office, he said that his government would face possible aggression of North Korea by strong deterioration, which will be based on a solid South Korean-American military alliance. At the same time, he added that the Republic of Korea does not close the dialogue door with North Korea and wants to work to fix peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The new president also announced that he would strive for pragmatic diplomacy and strengthens three-sided cooperation between Seoul, Washington and Toki, based on the South Korean-American alliance.

Even Če-Mjong won early presidential elections on Tuesday and Wednesday enters office for a five-year term.

According to local television and ČE-Mjong on Wednesday in a telephone interview with the choir of the Chiefs of Staff, he asked the army to closely follow the steps of North Korea and keep it in a state of emergency.
