Strawberries are one of the most popular fruits. During the season lasting for them, many people decide to prepare preparations for the winter. However, it is worth trying something new and making strawberry jam, which will be slightly different than the one we usually prepared. It is distinguished by two secret ingredients.
To enrich the taste of traditional strawberry jam, it is worth adding two certain ingredients to it, which, although they may seem irrational, will have a very positive effect on the taste of preserves and make them unique. I am talking about green pepper and balsamic vinegar. These products create such a tasty combination with strawberries that the whole family will love this jam.
Although these ingredients do not seem to match a sweet snack, adding them is a really good idea. The sour taste of balsamic vinegar will strengthen the sweet, natural taste at the same time balancing him so that the jam does not come out too bland.
In turn, green pepper is less spicy than black, so he will add a fresh, herbal note to jam, which refreshes pleasantly. What’s more, our preparations will gain the depth of taste, but they will not be overwhelmed with other aromas.
