A new partnership between Brazil and China promises to give a significant momentum to the production of vaccines and medical equipment in Brazilian territory. The agreement, recently signed, aims to strengthen the national pharmaceutical sector and reduce dependence on imported inputs.
Among the main points of the agreement is the forecast of local production of immunizers in Brazil, with technology transfer. The proposal aims to expand the national manufacturing capacity, contributing to the strengthening of the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry.

One of the central objectives of the new agreements is to create a platform for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (IFAS), which are currently mostly imported. This initiative seeks to reduce external dependence and strengthen the national production chain of medicines and vaccines.
