Researchers from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the University of Warmia and Mazury examined some of the strawberries, which most people throw into the trash. Of course, it’s about peduncles. It turns out that this is a real vitamin bomb. Research results showed that we will find in them Beta-Karoten, fiber, Lutein, Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin C and E and polyphenolic compounds (including elagic acid, chlorogenic acid, routine or catechin). As you can see, strawberry stalks like any green part of fruit or vegetables are a real mine of nutrients.
