She gained her name after the Dutch Queen Anna Pavlovně. However, the German botanist Filip Franz von Siebold did not see a tree in the Netherlands or Germany. Its origin is Asian. Therefore, you can often see it in China, Japan or Korea.

How to grow Pavlovnia?
As for the impressive appearance of this tree, as already mentioned, it is quite large, deciduous and very fast growing. It cannot be noticed during the season. Impressive leaves of pavlovnia are up to 40 cm long and are very similar to the shape. But they are not the leaves that appear first in the spring. During May, the tree is literally filled with upright rich grapes of violet flowers that look breathtaking on bare branches.
If the tree has a good habitat and at least minimal care, bloom in 3 to 5 years. There is not much need to benefit the tree. All he needs is a sunny habitat and a deep, well -permeable soil that is slightly alkaline.
Young seedlings can be sensitive to frosts, so they prefer to plant them at the beginning of the summer, so that the tree species should take time well and to withstand cold autumn and winter.
