President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Thursday that there is no one more concerned with the environment than the Brazilian government and asked France’s president Emmanuel Macron, who does not allow European countries to put doubts from Brazil to reduce deforestation.
Speaking of a joint press conference with Macron in Paris, Lula also stated, when asked about the opposition of French farmers to the agreement between Mercosur and the European Union, that farms from Brazil and France may be complementary.
