One man took his wife hostage in the west of, on the afternoon of Wednesday (4). Including Gate agents, the PM Paulista Special Tactical Operations Group acted to negotiate the kidnapper’s surrender. After more than four hours of negotiation, police had to intervene and, after using moral effects, detained the kidnapper.
Preliminary information from the Military Police indicated that the victim was the mother of the suspect. After the case was solved, the commander of shock policing, Colonel Valmor Racorte, said that only the man’s wife were kept hostage. An anonymous complaint informed the PM at 2:40 pm that he heard signs of a discussion between the two inside the residence where they are, at Rua Augusto José Avancini, in Jardim São Jorge.

Coronel Crecorte states that the woman proved to be scared, but was not physically injured in the occurrence. The man was arrested and placed in a car.
