The production of the Spanish industry increased in April 2025. But less than in the previous month. This was announced on Wednesday by the Statistical Office I INE. TASR reports this based on the RTTNEWS report. Specifically, industrial production in the fourth largest economy of the euro area after adjustment for seasonal and calendar influences in April increased year -on -year by 0.6 % after the revised increase by 0.9 % in March.
Statistics showed that in April there was a significant slowdown in the rate of production growth in the energy sector, to 0.6 % of 6.3 % in March. The growth of semi -finished products (to 0.6 % of 1 %) was also mitigated. On the other hand, the production of consumer goods came to life and increased by 1.4 % by 1.3 % after March, while the production of capital goods grew slightly faster (0.6 % compared to 0.1 %). In a month -on -month comparison and on a seasonally modified basis, industrial production in Spain was reduced by 0.8 %in April.
