Ana Luiza got ill soon after eating the cake, was taken to the hospital by her father, medicated and released, but returned the next day with serious symptoms and arrived without vital signs, having a cardiorespiratory stop.

Another victim
The victim of the first poisoning was another 17 -year -old. The incident occurred on May 15, 2025, about more than two weeks before the crime that victimized Ana Luiza.
As in the fatal case, this first victim also received a cake, described in a statement such as a chocolate cone and a nest milk flavor pot cake, bought in a local candy shop and paid R $ 24.00 via pix.
The suspicion teenager confessed to putting arsenic oxide on the cake for this first victim. After consuming the candy around 3 pm on May 15, the young woman started to get sick and even passed out. She had to be taken to a hospital.
However, unlike the tragic outcome for Ana Luiza, the May 15 victim has recovered from the symptoms and is fine.
