Try to prepare it yourself and see if you were just unlucky. The recipe provided by us creates a delicious, soft and slightly damp grandmother, which has a smoked and meat aroma. You will prepare it quickly and straight from well -known ingredients. It will be hard to make a mistake.

When baking grandmother, the form we choose is very important. The one with the chimney, which is usually used for baking Easter grandmothers, will work best. It turns out that it is also perfect for this baking. Potato grandmother has a dense, heavy consistency, which makes burning it in a cake tin or a rectangular form can cause that before the center is baked, the edges of the grandmother will be dry. The problem is solved by the form with the chimney, thanks to which the whole will bake evenly and the grandmother will be perfect.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of potatoes,

Remove the skin from the bacon, then cut it into medium thick stripes. We translate it into a hot pan and fry until browning. We leave about 2 onions for later, and peel the rest and cut into medium -sized cubes. Heat oil and butter in a frying pan, and then translate the onion. We will reduce the gas and fry slowly. When it is vituled, add a teaspoon of salt. Remove the browned from gas.

Peel the potatoes and divide into three parts. Two of them are raised on a pulp with fine mesh with the remaining onion and garlic. We rub one part on a thick grater. We mix everything together. We cut and serve warm with a tablespoon of sour cream.
