Since Friday, the Czech Republic will cancel the remaining extraordinary veterinary measures against the introduction of the clinker and the Kriva (SLAK) from Slovakia or Hungary, which have been in force so far. According to the Czech Minister of Agriculture Mark Excellent, thanks to early and coordinated steps, the Czech Republic managed to protect the Czech Republic from introducing the infection into the country. He wrote this on Thursday on the social network X, reports TASR newsletter in Prague.

According to the Czech State Veterinary Administration (SVS), the infection situation develops favorably. She pointed out that the new case was not confirmed in the countries around the Czech Republic since mid -April.

“Therefore, it will no longer be necessary to keep records of the entry of vehicles and the entry of persons into the economy or require a confirmation of the car’s disinfection. Nevertheless, the SVS recommends that breeders continue to maintain high -level biological safety measures,” SVS spokesman Petr Vorlíček said. The preventive investigation of milk and game for the presence of the virus will continue in the border regions.

“We have shown that we can hold together in crises, so we managed to protect our farms and agriculture. The situation is favorable, but we will still preventively continue testing milk and monitoring wildlife. I still ask for high caution,” He said excellent.

In Slovakia, the last focus was confirmed on 4 April, in Hungary 17 April. All monitoring examinations were negative in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, the SVS said. Slovakia has already canceled the closed bands, according to Czech veterinarians, Hungary is canceling them on Thursday.

As the director of SVS Zbyněk Semerad informed, they have so far investigated almost 1,400 milk samples, all with a negative result. Milk has been investigated since the end of March in regions that border with the Slovak Republic. In the same areas, they also removed and investigated more than 150 wildlife samples that were equally negative.
