The Malinec hydroelectric power plant was supposed to support another 17 municipalities: According to Tarab, it will have an economic benefit

The construction of the Málinec hylinder pumping was supported by the mayors of the municipalities of Málinec, the fabrics and the other 15 municipalities from Podpoľaniewith which the Ministry of the Environment (MoE) of the Slovak Republic signed an agreement. The hydroelectric power plant should bring economic growth and benefit for the whole economy of Slovakia. Minister of the Environment Tomáš Taraba (SNS nominee) announced it on Thursday.
