Upload the tension in the Black Sea: Putin displays missiles near the border with Europe

The Russians have returned to get muscle in the Black Sea. At six o’clock in the morning of June 2, local time in kyiv, two Russian warships equipped with Kalibr . Both ships can launch up to twelve projectiles simultaneously, which triggers the level of threat on Ukrainian objectives, particularly over the Odesa region.

But it is not an isolated movement. The Russian Navy also maintains three military ships in the Mediterranean, one of them with the capacity to launch eight Kalibr missiles at the same time. This maneuver increases tension in a key geostrategic area and extends the long -distance attack scope of the Kremlin in the middle of Ukraine war.

Ukrainian services say that Moscow has displaced twelve vessels in the last hours through the Kerch Strait towards the Black Sea. Six of them continued to the Bosphorus Strait, while another six went to the Azov Sea from that same step. Currently, armed ships have not been detected in that last area, which has momentarily reduced the risk by that flank.

Russian naval activity is far from limiting defensive or supply movements. kyiv denounces that, once again, Moscow ships have deactivated their automatic identification systems (AIS), which contravenes the International Convention for the Safety of Human Life in the Sea (alone) and hinders the monitoring of their displacements. “This complicates the monitoring of its activity and increases the risk of incidents in the sea,” they warned from the Ukrainian Navy.

During the early morning from Sunday to Monday, the tension also moved to the mainland. Anti -aircraft alarms sounded twice due to possible missile attacks, including ballistic projectiles from northeast. According to the Ukrainian authorities, explosions were heard in both kyiv and Járkov and air defense systems “responded” to the attack, although the balance of damages or victims has not been detailed.

The threat is clear. The constant deployment of Russian portamisiles by the seas that surrounds Ukraine and the incessant traffic through the strategic routes of the Black Sea and the Bosphorus force the Ukrainian Armed Forces to maintain extreme surveillance. Meanwhile, the war continues to progress as a missile.
