Councilwoman Luna Zaratini was one of the main voices to request clarification on the situation. She pointed out that the weekends’ interdictions and events are affecting the routine of residents, who have faced difficulties due to noise and intense movement. The president of the CPI, Councilman Rubinho Nunes, noted that, although the case of the Anhangabaú Valley may not fully fit the scope of the investigation, which focuses on parties without permit or public authorization, it is important to seek clarification to understand the situation.
In addition to the Anhangabaú Valley, the CPI is investigating establishments in other municipalities and events of rappers and funkeiros that have also generated concern. In a statement, the City of São Paulo stated that the concession of the Valley brought advances to the city, with about 5,000 free activities per year.
