Medvedev, the current Vice -President of the Council of Security of the Russian Federation, was offered on the X platform that he would convey a peace agreement between Trump and Musk for a reasonable fee. As a payment, he would have accepted the shares of Starlink. At the same time, however, he called on them not to argue.
Russian support or restraint?
The Russian news agency TASS reported on the statements of a deputy Novikov, who mocked the granting of Musk asylum in Russia. Although the deputy expects that the billionaire would not take advantage of such a possibility, he said Moscow would “certainly award him” if necessary.
Kremlin spokesman Peskov was more restrained in the matter and described Trump with Musk as an internal issue of the United States. “We do not intend to interfere with it in any way,” he said, adding that Trump will take care of himself.
A sharp exchange of opinions
Verbal exchanges of views between Trump and Musk culminated on Thursday after the billionaire president criticized in an oval office and both subsequently exchanged sharp contributions on their social networks – Trump on Truth Social and Musk on X. Trump said he didn’t know if his close friendship would continue. He stated that he was “very disappointed” by his criticism of the package of tax and expenditure cuts referred to as “One Big, Beautiful Bill”.
Musk subsequently stated that without his aid, Trump would not win last year’s presidential election, and described his actions as a “noble”. The billionaire invested nearly $ 300 million in Trump’s campaign. He also declared that the name of the US President is mentioned in documents about the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. According to him, this is why the US government has not yet published all these writings.
Trump versus Musk
In response to Musk’s criticism, Trump suggested that the easiest way to save billions of dollars in the budget would be to cancel the government’s subsidies and the contracts that Musk is getting. Subsequently, Musk responded to the Platform X by the word “yes” to the post proposed by Impeachment Trump.
